Hey, I’m Mateo Gerdes. I’m 17 years old actor and model born and raised in the United States, and currently based in Miami. I’ve been acting since I was 9 years old. I come from German and Colombian parents, hold EU citizenship, and I’m fully fluent in both English and Spanish.

My passion for acting started early and quickly grew into something I knew I wanted to pursue seriously. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working in TV series, television commercials, and theater, which has helped me develop versatility and confidence both on set and on stage.

I’m very observant and detail-oriented, which allows me to connect deeply with characters and portray emotions in an authentic way. I also have a strong ability to retain scripts quickly, helping me work efficiently while staying fully present in each scene. I take direction well, collaborate easily with creative teams, and always show up prepared and focused.

More recently, I’ve been exploring the modeling field, encouraged by recommendations from professionals within the industry, and I’m enjoying expanding my creative expression in front of the camera in new ways.

I enjoy exploring both dramatic and lighthearted roles and strive to make every moment feel real and grounded. Acting is more than something I enjoy — it’s where I feel most present and expressive. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and building my career, and I’m motivated to see where this journey will take me.
